Davos, Jan 18, 2024, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, had a telephone conversation on Wednesday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Hussein. During the discussion, both sides addressed regional and international issues, with a particular focus on recent developments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The ministers also took the opportunity to review the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Iraq and explored avenues to enhance cooperation in various fields. Such diplomatic dialogues contribute to fostering understanding and collaboration between the two nations, promoting stability and mutual interests in the region.
