Riyadh, September 24, 2023, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned and denounced the destruction of copies of the Holy Quran by an extremist group in front of a number of embassies in The Hague on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Kingdom's vehement condemnation of these abhorrent and persistent activities, which are inadmissible in any situation. Such behaviors unmistakably encourage racism, exclusion, and hatred and directly oppose efforts made on a global scale to advance the ideals of tolerance, moderation, and opposition to extremism. These actions erode the mutual respect that is the cornerstone of interactions between peoples and nations.
