Riyadh, September 29, 2023, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), and Naadir Hassan, Minister of Finance, National Planning, and Trade of the Seychelles, signed two development loan agreements today. The Seychelles Social Housing Project and the La Digue School Reconstruction Project will each get $25 million from the SFD through the loans. The establishment of housing for low-income families around the nation will be aided by the first financing arrangement, worth $15 million.
The second arrangement, at $10 million, will assist in creating a contemporary learning environment in the Seychelles.
The SFD has carried out 700 development projects and programs worth more than $18.7 billion in more than 90 countries since its founding in 1974.
