Riyadh, September 15, 2023, Building on the Saudi initiative announced in March 2021 and as a continuation of the meetings and discussions held by the Saudi team in Sana'a from April 8–13, 2023, with participation from the Sultanate of Oman and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jabir. In addition, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invited a delegation from Sana'a to visit the Kingdom in order to conclude these meetings and discussions. This was done as part of the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to achieve a comprehensive and long-lasting ceasefire in Yemen.
