Algiers, November 29, 2024 – In a significant display of bilateral cooperation, Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz met with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today at the Presidential Palace in Algiers. The meeting, held upon the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, focused on strengthening the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
During the discussions, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed the warmest greetings and best wishes from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to President Tebboune. The Saudi Minister expressed hopes for Algeria's continued success, stability, and prosperity in its development journey.
The two leaders reviewed the strong ties between the two nations, particularly in the areas of security cooperation, and explored ways to further enhance their collaborative efforts.
