With a focus on preserving and promoting the country’s cultural heritage, Banan is an unmissable celebration of artistry, skill, and innovation.

The exhibition promises to be a vibrant experience for visitors, featuring a wide variety of pavilions, live craft performances, and interactive workshops. One of the key highlights will be the Handicrafts Arts Village, where artisans will present their unique creations, offering visitors a chance to interact directly with the creators of these masterpieces. More than 500 artisans from Saudi Arabia, alongside representatives from 25 countries, will participate in this year’s Banan exhibition. This diverse range of contributors ensures that visitors will experience a global celebration of traditional crafts, showcasing unique cultural expressions from different parts of the world. Banan also provides a valuable opportunity for artisans to market their products, supporting their economic empowerment and contributing to the growth of the craft sector.

The Heritage Commission is committed to raising awareness about the significance of handicrafts as part of intangible cultural heritage, ensuring their preservation and transmission to future generations. By hosting events like Banan, the commission hopes to foster a greater appreciation for the artistic traditions that form the foundation of Saudi cultural identity.

Aligned with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Culture Strategy, the second edition of Banan represents a significant step forward in the development of the country's cultural industries.
