Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Sharia Course in Indonesia


Successful Completion of Sharia Course: The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, in partnership with the Islamic Center Mua'z bin Jabal, concluded a three-day intensive Sharia course in Jakarta, focusing on the Six Fundamental Principles and Sunnah doctrine.


Emphasis on Compassionate Teaching: The course aimed to equip preachers with skills for effective communication and interaction, emphasizing kindness, patience, and respectful dissemination of Islamic knowledge.


Promotion of Moderation and Counter-Extremism: This initiative is part of the ministry’s broader efforts to promote Sharia knowledge, advocate for moderation, and combat extremism and fanaticism on an international scale.


Jakarta, September 7, 2024 – In a significant development for interfaith and intercultural engagement, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, through its religious attaché office at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's embassy in Jakarta, has successfully concluded a comprehensive three-day Sharia course. This initiative, held in collaboration with the Islamic Center Mua'z bin Jabal, represents a pivotal effort in the ministry’s broader mission to enhance Islamic education and promote core values.


The intensive program was meticulously designed to cover key aspects of Islamic jurisprudence, focusing on the Six Fundamental Principles and the Sunnah doctrine.
