Saudi Konoz Initiative and "Horizon" film gain global media attention

Riyadh, January 23, 2024, The global launch of the Saudi Konoz Initiative, a project by the Government Communication Center of the Ministry of Media, and its latest documentary film "Horizon" on the renowned Netflix platform, has garnered widespread coverage from international media outlets in various languages. The extensive media attention has underscored the initiative's remarkable achievements in scientific documentation and artistic creativity, showcasing the diverse and rich natural environment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

International coverage in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and German languages has been facilitated through reputable news services like AFP, EDR News in Korea, JIJI in Japan, La Nacion in Spain, Mid Florida Newspaper, and the US Morning Star. Regional media outlets, including Zawya and Al-Masry Al-Youm, also provided coverage.

Netflix, in describing the film, commended it as an "amazing work" that brings attention to Saudi Arabia's wildlife, endangered species, and the efforts undertaken to preserve them.
