Riyadh, March 1, 2024, The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has inaugurated the Study Visa Issuance Service on the "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform, marking a significant step towards facilitating international students' pursuit of education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The launch ceremony, graced by the presence of Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan, unfolded during the "Human Capacity Initiative" conference held in Riyadh on February 28 and 29. Under the auspices of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Chairman of the Human Capacity Development Program Committee, the conference served as the backdrop for this landmark initiative.
The primary objective of the newly introduced visa service is to streamline the visa issuance process for aspiring international students. It endeavors to foster seamless coordination among the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and pertinent stakeholders. Anchored on the "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform, this initiative offers a plethora of services aimed at expanding educational horizons for students aspiring to pursue academic endeavors in Saudi Arabia. By providing a user-friendly interface, the platform seeks to bolster the Kingdom's stature as a premier global educational hub.
