The highly anticipated forum, a collaborative effort between the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and the Saudi Journalists Association, is slated to occur from February 19 to 21, 2024. The announcement coincided with a ceremony hosted by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority in celebration of World Television Day.

Building on the success of its previous editions, the Saudi Media Forum aims to solidify its role as a key player in the media landscape, actively contributing to a positive impact across various sectors. Emphasizing its commitment to advancing the Saudi media industry, the forum will explore the latest technologies in the face of a rapidly changing global landscape. Beyond that, it seeks to create a dynamic community for investment opportunities and the exchange of local and international experiences in the media field, while enhancing the Kingdom's media standing on the global stage.

Taking place from February 19 to 21, FOMEX is touted as the largest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East, featuring modern experiences in the media industry and attracting leading global companies. The exhibition will offer specialized workshops presented by experts, academics, and practitioners in various media fields.

Al-Harthy emphasized the inclusive nature of the forum, recognizing that modern media transcends traditional boundaries and can be leveraged by anyone with a means of communication to convey their message. The forum will conclude with the presentation of the "Saudi Media Forum Award" for its third edition, honoring contributors to local and regional media work in six categories: Journalism, Visual and Auditory Production, Scientific Production in the Media Field, Digital Media, Innovation and Leadership in the Media Field, and Media Excellence Award. The award aims to foster fair competition, motivate media professionals, and showcase pioneering Saudi experiences in media and communication.
