Saudi Mining Official Engages in Critical Minerals Conference in London

Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, actively participated in the third annual conference of the Critical Minerals Association held in London. During the conference, Al-Mudaifer highlighted the pivotal role of the mining sector in Saudi Vision 2030, positioning it as the third pillar of national industries alongside oil and petrochemicals.

Al-Mudaifer emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to developing a comprehensive mining strategy, establishing the foundation for a vibrant, adaptable, and sustainable mining sector. The strategy aims to set clear rules to propel the mining industry forward as a vital component of Saudi Arabia's economic landscape.

As part of the Kingdom's endeavors in the mining sector, Al-Mudaifer extended an invitation to attendees to join the upcoming International Mining Conference scheduled to take place in Riyadh from January 9 to 11, 2024. The conference promises to be a significant platform for global discussions and collaborations in the field of mining, furthering Saudi Arabia's vision for a robust and dynamic mining industry.
