London, December 1, 2023 - Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Transport Authority, conducted crucial meetings in London on the sidelines of the 33rd session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly.
Al-Jasser engaged with several counterparts and officials, including IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim, Jamaican Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications, and Transport Daryl Vaz, Nigerian Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola, Indonesian Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Swedish Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Andreas Carlson, and Philippines Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.
Additionally, Minister Al-Jasser met with Yemeni Minister of Transport Dr. Abdulsalam Saleh Hamid, Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Bahraini Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, and Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Admiral Wayne R. Arguin Jr.
The discussions during these meetings revolved around strategies to strengthen collaboration in various development and economic sectors.
