Riyadh, September 24, 2023, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has voiced strong condemnation regarding the recurring provocative actions conducted by a group of extremists at Al-Aqsa Mosque, all while under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
In an official statement, the Ministry expressed deep concern over the actions of Israeli occupation authorities, which it sees as detrimental to international peace efforts and in violation of established international principles and norms pertaining to religious sanctuaries. The Ministry reiterated the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in their pursuit of ending the occupation.
Furthermore, Saudi Arabia remains dedicated to fostering initiatives that pave the way for a fair and enduring resolution to the Palestinian issue. This resolution must grant the Palestinian people the opportunity to establish their own sovereign state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem serving as its capital.
