Tokyo, March 27, 2024, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance initiated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift Program in Japan, marked by a ceremonial launch at the Kingdom's embassy in Tokyo. This program is designed to distribute dates, a traditional and revered symbol of generosity during Ramadan, across Japan. Notable figures present at the launch included Saudi Ambassador Dr. Ghazi bin Faisal bin Zagr, Dr. Anas El Malih from the Muslim World League (MWL) Office in Japan, and other esteemed guests from various Islamic organizations.

These dates were allocated to mosques and Islamic associations throughout the country, ensuring that a wide-reaching and meaningful impact was achieved. This initiative forms part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts during Ramadan, extending goodwill and support to Muslim communities worldwide under the auspices of wise leadership.
The presence of leaders from Islamic associations and centers underscored the collaborative spirit and unity within the Muslim community in Japan. This gesture not only promotes cultural exchange but also strengthens bonds of friendship and solidarity across borders. Such initiatives exemplify the values of compassion and generosity integral to Islamic teachings, resonating with the spirit of Ramadan as a time of giving and sharing blessings with others.
