
RIYADH, March 31, 2025 — The Ministry of Education has announced the creation of over 425 community partnerships, generating an estimated economic impact of more than SR653 million, as part of its growing commitment to social responsibility and volunteer initiatives.
This announcement coincides with the Kingdom’s celebration of Saudi Social Responsibility Day, highlighting the ministry’s efforts to foster impactful collaborations that benefit students and the broader community.
In 2024, the ministry secured 403 partnerships through regional education departments, contributing to various national development goals. Additionally, 22 strategic partnerships were launched at the national level, strengthening its role in social and economic progress. These initiatives collectively benefited more than 576,851 individuals by providing access to educational resources, professional training, and personal development programs.
Notable initiatives include a program offering education and vocational training for inmates to help with their reintegration into society, and “The Young Benefactor” program, which promotes generosity and community involvement among students. The ministry also launched the Developmental Education Program to address learning gaps in underserved schools, and a scholarship initiative for the children of martyrs, ensuring they have the resources needed for a successful future.
