Doha, December 06, 2023, The Ministry of Investment successfully concluded its participation in the 17th annual Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Forum, held in Doha from December 4 to 6. The theme of the forum was "Mobilizing Chemistry for Impactful Transformation." The Saudi delegation, represented by various entities under the "Invest Saudi" umbrella, included the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Local Content & Government Procurement Authority, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, the National Industrial Development Center, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the Industrial Center, and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program.
During the forum, the Ministry of Investment showcased its role in providing services to investors and highlighted the efforts undertaken to enhance the investment environment in Saudi Arabia. Emphasis was placed on the significant investment opportunities available in the petrochemical sector, one of the key pillars of the Kingdom's economic diversification strategy.
The Saudi delegation engaged with industry leaders, investors, and stakeholders to discuss potential collaborations, promote Saudi Arabia's investment-friendly environment, and attract investments into the petrochemical industry. The participation in the GPCA Forum aligns with the Kingdom's commitment to fostering partnerships, driving economic growth, and promoting the transformation of the petrochemical sector to contribute significantly to the national economy.
