Saudi Ministry signs agreement with UNDP and Habitat for urban planning consulting

Riyadh, September 11, 2023, In order to provide consulting services for the urban planning and landscape improvement program in Saudi cities, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing today signed a cooperation agreement with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (Habitat). The objective is to raise living conditions, improve resident quality of life, and advance sustainable urban development. The deal was signed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on September 10, 2023, the second day of the Kingdom's "Cityscape Global" exposition.

Both Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and Nahid Hussein, the UNDP's Resident Representative for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed the contract.
