March 27, 2025 - On May 9, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Abdullah "The Reaper" al-Qahtani of Saudi Arabia will face Egypt's Islam "The Egyptian Zombie" Reda in an exciting featherweight bout hosted by the Professional Fighters League (PFL).
Al-Qahtani, from Riyadh, holds a professional record of 10 wins and 2 losses. He secured the 2024 PFL MENA Featherweight Championship with a first-round knockout in November 2024, marking his fourth career knockout and bringing his PFL record to 5-1.
"I'm ready for PFL MENA Season 2. I know every fighter has their eyes on me, like I'm the prey—but I'm not. I'm the hunter. And I will hunt down every opponent. Last season taught me one thing: never give up. Stay focused on your goal and go after it. Never give up," al-Qahtani told Al Arabiya English.
His opponent, Reda, has a record of 12 wins and 1 loss, with eight of his victories coming via submission, showcasing his grappling skills.
PFL MENA Season 2 will kick off in Jeddah as part of a partnership with Jeddah Season on May 9 at the Onyx Arena.
Following the success of its inaugural season in 2024, PFL MENA’s second edition aims to boost MMA in the Middle East by showcasing local talent and offering fighters a clear route to international recognition and success.
