The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) launches the National Afforestation Program as part of the Green Saudi Initiative. Across 13 NCVC branches, volunteers and organizations actively participate, planting trees in Thadiq National Park, Eastern Region, and Al-Ahsa National Park. In collaboration with Ithra, a reading marathon results in over 5,000 trees planted. Additionally, cyclists contribute in Al-Jumum Park. NCVC's efforts align with the Saudi Green Initiative's goals, combating desertification and promoting sustainable environmental development.
