March 25, 2025, SAITAMA, Japan: The Saudi Arabian national football team continued their preparations on Sunday evening ahead of their highly anticipated match against Japan in the eighth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled for Tuesday.


Under head coach Herve Renard, the Green Falcons trained at Saitama Stadium 2002, focusing on tactical drills after a warm-up session.


The session concluded with a full-pitch game between two groups, followed by stretching exercises.


The team’s final training session will take place on Monday at 7:00 PM (Japan time), with the first 15 minutes open to the media, providing a glimpse of their final preparations.


Renard will hold a pre-match press conference at 6:00 PM (Japan time) in the stadium’s press conference hall, where he is expected to discuss the team’s strategy and readiness for the match.


Saudi Arabia is aiming for a positive result against Japan as they continue their journey toward qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
