Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to Combat Blindness in Burundi Concludes

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully concluded its "Saudi Noor" volunteer project in Burundi, aimed at combating blindness, from September 14 to 19.

Gitega, Burundi, September 21, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded its "Saudi Noor" volunteer project to combat blindness in the Republic of Burundi. The project ran from September 14 to 19.


 KSrelief volunteer medical team examined 3,000 patients, distributed 913 eyeglasses, and performed 447 successful eye surgeries.


 The initiative is part of the volunteer medical projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to assist those suffering from eye diseases worldwide.
