MAKKAH March 29, 2025 — Emergency medical teams from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah successfully revived a 45-year-old Pakistani man who suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while observing i'tikaf at the Prophet’s Mosque.


Authorities reported that the incident took place in the mosque courtyards, where the man unexpectedly collapsed.


Paramedics responded immediately, administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using a defibrillator.


Their swift and professional intervention restored the patient’s pulse, after which he was transferred to Al-Safiyyah Health Center for further medical care.
