Riyadh, December 8, 2023, Saudi Philosophy Association has formalized its collaboration with the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP). The agreement, signed in the presence of the Secretary-General of King Fahd National Library, Prince Khalid bin Talal bin Badr, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Philosophy Association, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutairi, occurred during the launch of the Riyadh International Philosophy Conference 2023. This noteworthy event, held at the King Fahd National Library in Riyadh, spans three days.
The primary objective of the agreement is to enhance the standing of local philosophy within the global philosophical discourse. By joining the International Federation of Philosophical Societies, the Saudi Philosophy Association seeks to actively participate in the broader international philosophical community. This move aligns with the overarching goal of fostering cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration in the field of philosophy.
The Riyadh International Philosophy Conference 2023, under the auspices of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, serves as a platform for intellectuals, scholars, and philosophers to engage in meaningful discussions.
