Saudi Post President expresses gratitude to the leadership for their support in patronizing the UPUC

Eng. Anef Abanomi, the President of the Saudi Post (SPL), expressed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his esteemed patronage of the upcoming 4th Extraordinary Conference of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). This significant event is set to be held in Riyadh from October 1 to 5 and will witness the participation of an impressive 192 countries.

In a recent statement, Eng. Abanomi emphasized the significant backing that the transportation and logistics sector, specifically the postal sector, receives from the Saudi leadership. This unwavering support is attributed to the pivotal role these sectors play in realizing the objectives outlined in the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The vision aims to position Saudi Arabia as a prominent global logistics hub, thereby bolstering economic gains and fortifying sustainable development across various industries.

In a recent statement, he emphasized that the extraordinary conference's results are poised to make a significant impact on the advancement of the global postal sector. With a diverse range of international participants, the conference aims to generate recommendations that will bolster cooperation mechanisms and foster innovation in postal services and products. These efforts are expected to greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of postal work worldwide. In a recent statement, he highlighted the fact that SPL embarked on its development journey several years ago, aligning itself with the ambitious goals set forth by the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The aim? To position itself as a pivotal hub within the global trade network, connecting various trade routes from around the world.

In a resounding victory, the Kingdom has secured the prestigious honor of hosting the highly anticipated conference. This momentous achievement was made possible by the unwavering support garnered from the member states of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) during a pivotal gathering of the General Committee of its esteemed Board of Directors.
