RIYADH — Football supporters were advised not to break any match rules and regulations by a representative of the Saudi Public Prosecution. It emphasized in a statement how crucial it is for spectators at sporting events to follow the laws and regulations. Storming onto the field during a game, interfering with matches, endangering the safety of others, or causing any disorderly scenes are examples of these offenses.
All spectators were urged by the Public Prosecution Source to abide by these guidelines, to follow all directions, and to refrain from doing anything that would disrupt activities in general or sporting events in particular.
After observing disorderly occurrences in various Saudi stadiums recently when supporters stormed onto the field to meet international stars, the Public Prosecution issued its warning.
The most recent of these occurrences occurred last Friday during a Saudi Professional League match between Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr and Al-Taawoun Club. Before Saudi security personnel restrained him, one of the teens charged Ronaldo on the field.
