Riyadh, April 12, 2025, The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has issued the first Yacht Chartering Company Licenses of 2025 to Hasco Marine Works Corp. and Al Ahlam Hotels & Marinas Tourism Company. This step aligns with the authority’s mandates to regulate coastal tourism, enhance service quality, and support the sector’s economic growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
As part of its efforts to develop the coastal tourism sector, SRSA is committed to fostering an attractive environment for tourists, investors, and industry stakeholders through its mandates, which include licensing and permitting, setting regulations and standards for marinas, and encouraging investment in coastal tourism activities.
The Yacht Chartering Company License is granted to companies that meet all regulatory requirements, including full compliance with SRSA’s conditions, ensuring the seaworthiness of chartered yachts, and adhering to the highest local and international safety and environmental standards, as well as all applicable regulations in Saudi Arabia.
These newly issued licenses are expected to strengthen regulatory oversight of coastal tourism activities, expand service offerings, attract investment, increase tourist arrivals, and stimulate the yacht sector. Additionally, they will create new job opportunities and enhance visitor experiences along the Red Sea.
With these latest approvals, the total number of Yacht Chartering Company Licenses issued by SRSA has reached five, enhancing service quality for tourists while supporting marine sustainability and the ongoing development of Red Sea coastal tourism.
