Dr. Hisham Alhaidary, the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities, addressed the opening ceremony of the Saudi Rehab Expo, which is the Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements.
Many national and international businesses and organizations that provide products and equipment for the disabled were showcased and presented during the exhibition.
The exhibition was organized with the goal of showcasing state-of-the-art therapies, technology, and rehabilitation tools that can help those with disabilities overcome obstacles.
Dr. Alhaidary is the CEO of the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities and he flagged off the opening of Saudi Rehab Expo, known in full as Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements, on May 27, 2024, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. A number of ambassadors, senior officials, representatives from participating corporations, and organizations from both the local community and the international community graced the event. As part of his education, Dr. Alhaidary was given information regarding the sections and pavilions of the expo. The expo presented the huge number of local and worldwide organizations and businesses dealing with the manufacture and supply of products and tools that are designed to help persons with disabilities. During this exhibition, many state-of-the-art technologies will be presented, which will enable the disabled to get through a variety of challenges in their lives. Such technologies will be demonstrated with the use of unique therapies and rehabilitation apparatuses. The role and responsibility of the community in accommodating the needs of such persons and the protection of their rights will also be brought into the limelight. The exhibition will run up to 28th May 2024. The exhibition is to begin at two o'clock in the afternoon and will run up to ten o'clock at night.
