Riyadh, August 03, 2024, The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association (SASA) is scheduled to participate in the Arab Scouts Youth Forum for Digital Transformation, which is being held at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, during August 3 to 8.
The forum, organized by the Arab Scouts Region in cooperation with the General Directorate of Scouts and Guides of the Sultanate of Oman, aims to enhance the capabilities of young people, empower and involve them, and provide opportunities for national coordinators to play their roles.
The forum reviews several topics, the most important of which are the basic characteristics of the scouting movement, an introduction to the World Scouting Policy, a review of the results and impact of youth participation in the September 2023 edition of the forum, and an introduction to the policy of diversity, integration and inclusion. Moreover, the forum casts light on new scouting initiatives, sustainable development goals, and planning for personal development.
