The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association successfully participated in the third International Scout Forum for Youth Empowerment in Kuwait, strengthening ties with regional and international scouting organizations.

Kuwait, January 18, 2025 – The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association has successfully concluded its participation in the third International Scout Forum for Youth Empowerment, held in Kuwait from January 11 to 16, 2025. This event, focused on leadership and influence, provided a platform for the Saudi Scouts to strengthen relationships with various regional and international scouting organizations, fostering better coordination and collaboration in scouting efforts.

The forum, organized by the Kuwait Boy Scouts Association, brought together a diverse group of scouts from across the Arab world and the Gulf region. Saudi Arabia’s involvement was part of a broader initiative to enhance the image and impact of the Scout movement while implementing its updated strategic vision. By actively participating in both formal sessions and informal exchanges, the Saudi Scouts were able to share valuable insights and experiences, contributing to the overall development of scouting in the region.

A highlight of the Saudi Scouts' participation was their engagement in the 17th meeting of the Arab International Commissioners and their assistants, a critical platform for discussing key issues, setting objectives, and aligning efforts across the scouting community. These sessions played a vital role in deepening cooperation among scouting organizations, enabling them to tackle common challenges and promote youth empowerment on a broader scale. The forum also allowed the participants to showcase the achievements of their respective national scouting movements and plan for future initiatives that would further the values of leadership, responsibility, and community service among young people.

Beyond the formal proceedings, the Saudi Scouts were also given the opportunity to visit a number of significant cultural and historical landmarks in Kuwait. These visits, organized by the Kuwaiti Scouts, allowed the participants to engage in cross-cultural exchanges, deepening their understanding of Kuwait’s heritage while strengthening ties with their scouting peers from other nations.

The successful conclusion of the event has left Saudi Scouts with a renewed sense of purpose and direction, as they continue to play an active role in the development of scouting activities both regionally and internationally. The experience has not only enhanced the skills and leadership qualities of Saudi Scouts but has also underscored the importance of international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge in fostering youth empowerment across borders.
