Dr. Mohammed Saud Al-Tamimi, CEO of the Saudi Space Agency (SSA), led the Kingdom's delegation at the Space Agencies Leaders' Summit in Dubai as part of COP28. The summit focused on climate change awareness, the role of space technologies, and addressing environmental challenges. Dr. Al-Tamimi emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to leveraging space technology for climate solutions and highlighted 66 initiatives presented during the previous conference to address climate change. The summit aimed to encourage private investment, innovation, and funding for space and climate programs.
