The index reached a closing value of 11451.31 points, leaving investors with a sense of optimism. The trading floor witnessed a flurry of activity, with a substantial total trading volume of SAR 6.3 billion. In a bustling day of trading, a staggering 232 million shares were exchanged, showcasing the fervent activity within the market. Among the numerous companies involved, a notable 72 experienced a remarkable surge in their share values, reflecting a promising upward trend. However, the flip side revealed a less favorable outcome for 146 companies, as their shares closed with a decline, indicating a challenging day for these entities. In a recent development, the Saudi Parallel Stock Index (NOMU) experienced a decline, with a loss of 110.76 points. The index closed at 23201.77 points, resulting in a valuation of SAR19.6 million riyals. Notably, the trading activity witnessed a significant volume, with over 1.8 million shares being traded.
