Doha, November 5, 2024 - The Saudi National Taekwondo teams achieved remarkable success at the Qatar Taekwondo International Open Championship, concluding the event with a stunning total of 37 medals. Held from October 31 to November 2 in Doha, Qatar, the competition gathered 1,440 top athletes from 40 countries, showcasing the very best in taekwondo talent from across the globe.
The Saudi athletes, representing both the national teams and clubs, delivered strong performances that earned them accolades across various categories. The national team alone contributed a significant seven medals, highlighting the team’s growing prowess and international competitiveness in the sport.
Notably, Dunya Abo Taleb and Nada Al-Maqoushi excelled in their respective categories, each securing a gold medal.
