Saudi Team Shares Product Safety Expertise at Singapore Event

- A Saudi delegation, led by Dr. Saad Alkasabi, visited Singapore to strengthen trade relations and enhance cooperation in product safety and quality improvement.

Riyadh, April 12, 2025, A Saudi delegation, headed by Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) Dr. Saad bin Othman Alkasabi, visited the Republic of Singapore to discuss strengthening trade relations, addressing the challenges facing Singaporean manufacturers, suppliers, and business sector, and enhancing cooperation in the field of product safety and quality improvement.

 During the bilateral meetings with officials in the public and private sectors, Dr. Alkasabi discussed several topics of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation between both sides. Additionally, a workshop highlighted Saudi Arabia's product safety experience, the importance of global manufacturer/exporter communication, and awareness of SASO's technical regulations and services.

 This visit comes within the framework of efforts to enhance trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Singapore and expand cooperation in product safety and conformity, focusing on knowledge sharing and expertise transfer in related sectors.
