Saudi Tourism Authority Showcases Kingdom's Tourism Potential at Qatar Exhibition

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) is actively participating in the Qatar International Exhibition for Tourism and Travel, held in Doha from November 20 to 22. This strategic move is part of STA's ongoing efforts to strengthen the Kingdom's position on the global tourism map, highlighting its captivating tourist destinations, experiences, and products. Additionally, the participation aims to showcase investment opportunities and foster connections with partners within and outside the Kingdom.

Spanning an impressive 250 square meters, the Saudi pavilion offers a platform for product developers and service providers in the Kingdom's tourism sector. It includes a dedicated space for service providers to guests of the Two Holy Mosques under the umbrella of "Nusuk," the unified platform for pilgrims visiting Makkah and Madinah. The pavilion exudes an authentic ambience, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom.

Over 20 Saudi entities and companies are participating in the Saudi pavilion, including major developers of destinations and tourism projects like NEOM, Cruise Saudi, and Red Sea Global. The pavilion also features organizers of trips and hotels, tourism and travel companies, national airlines, and entities specializing in Umrah and trip organization, along with providing services to visitors of the Two Holy Mosques.

Abdulkarim Yousef Al-Darwish, the CEO of Middle East and Africa Markets at STA, highlighted the impressive growth of the Saudi tourism sector, making it the fastest-growing tourist destination globally. With over 16 million tourists welcomed in the first half of this year alone, the Kingdom's allure continues to captivate visitors from around the world.

The STA's participation in this exhibition aligns with the Kingdom's efforts to facilitate travel to Saudi Arabia. Various visa options are available, such as the tourist visa, which allows for performing Umrah, transit visa, and family visit visa. Additionally, electronic visas are accessible for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, and European Union countries. Visitors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Schengen countries, and citizens of 63 countries worldwide can also easily explore and experience the wonders of the Kingdom.
