Dakar, October 10, 2023, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the Saudi Arabian minister of tourism, was received by Macky Sall, president of the Republic of Senegal. Al-Khateeb thanked the President of the Republic of Senegal for his support of the Kingdom's bid to host the 2030 Expo in Riyadh on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Al-Khateeb also expressed gratitude to the president of Senegal for his nation's support of the Kingdom's quest to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034.
Strategies to improve Saudi Arabia's and Senegal's cooperation were also discussed at the conference.
