Saudi Toyota 2024 Drift Championship Concludes in Al-Ahsa

The Saudi Toyota 2024 Drift Championship concluded with its third and final round at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City in Al-Ahsa, organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and supported by Jameel Motorsports and the Saudi Investment Bank.

Al-Ahsa, November 24, 2024 – The Saudi Toyota 2024 Drift Championship came to a thrilling conclusion yesterday, with the third and final round taking place at the iconic Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City in the Al-Ahsa Governorate. This high-octane event was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Sport, with key support from official partner Jameel Motorsports and strategic partner the Saudi Investment Bank.


Over the course of the championship, more than 50 elite drivers from Saudi Arabia and around the world showcased their skills in what has become a premier motorsports event in the region. The competition saw a diverse range of participants, including professional drivers, amateurs, and semi-professionals, all competing across various categories that tested their precision, control, and flair behind the wheel. The championship not only provided a platform for established drivers but also gave emerging talents the opportunity to prove themselves on the world stage.


The championship's grand finale was a spectacle of skill and daring, drawing spectators from across the Kingdom and beyond. Emad Sindi, Director of the Marketing Department at SAMF, took center stage to present the awards to the top performers of the event. Mohamed El-Arabi claimed first place in the prestigious professional category, securing the title after an impressive display of precision drifting. Yusef Bahuwayrith followed closely in second place, while Badr Al-Sharihi rounded out the top three in third place. The podium finishers were celebrated for their dedication, skill, and consistency throughout the competition.


Sindi expressed his appreciation for the high level of competition displayed during the championship, noting the growth of motorsports in Saudi Arabia and the region. He took the opportunity to commend the unwavering support provided by the Kingdom’s leadership to the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, which has been instrumental in organizing world-class sporting events and championships. He emphasized that this support has not only allowed such events to flourish but has also solidified the Kingdom’s standing as a global leader in the motorsports arena.
