Saudi-Tunisian Investment Forum Opens Opportunities for Comprehensive Partnership

Tunis, December 27, 2023, The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, highlighted the significant opportunities for advancing the comprehensive partnership between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. Emphasizing the outcomes and objectives of the Saudi-Tunisian Committee, Alkhorayef underscored the unique advantages and potential of both countries, including their strategic geographical locations and leadership visions for sustainable development and economic diversification.

Speaking at the Saudi-Tunisian Investment and Partnership Forum in Tunis, Alkhorayef stressed the potential for collaboration in various sectors such as industry, renewable energy, agriculture, trade expansion, and exports. He also highlighted the natural resources that can be harnessed to promote cooperation between the two nations.

Alkhorayef expressed optimism about building a better future for the people of both countries based on the historical relations and the outcomes of the committee's work since its inception. He noted the major leap Saudi Arabia is undergoing as part of the Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on diversifying the local economy and building alliances with Arab and African countries.

The forum, attended by Tunisian Minister of Finance and interim Minister of Economy and Planning Sihem Nemsia, saw the participation of approximately 300 businesspeople and investors from both Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. The event aims to create a platform for fostering economic cooperation, partnerships, and investment opportunities between the two nations.
