Al-Ahsa, March 26, 2024, The Saudi under-21 (U21) national team is set to square off against their Egyptian counterparts at 20:00 on Tuesday evening at Al-Fateh Club Stadium, situated in Al-Ahsa Governorate, as part of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U23 Championship.
Dubbed "Al-Akhdar" or "the Green," the Saudi national team underwent a rigorous training session the previous evening on the reserve pitch located at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City in Al-Ahsa. The training session was overseen by Brazilian coach Marcos Suarez, who provided guidance and direction to the team in preparation for the upcoming match.
In addition to the Saudi Green U21 team, the WAFF U23 Championship features a lineup of formidable teams including Australia, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, South Korea, Thailand, and the UAE, promising an exciting and competitive tournament.
