On September 15, 2024, in Dammam, the Saudi youth handball team wrapped up their participation in the 10th AHF Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship, finishing in fourth place after a competitive tournament held in Jordan. By securing this position, the Saudi team has earned a spot in the 2025 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship. In their final match, the team was defeated by Kuwait with a score of 26-30, with the first half ending 17-18 in favor of Kuwait. This achievement marks the third time in Saudi handball history that the team has qualified for the World Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Egypt in 2025.
