Ahmed Saleh

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has launched direct flights to Johannesburg Airport, South Africa, from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The inaugural flight ceremony occurred at the AlFursan International Lounge, attended by dignitaries, including the Consul General of the Republic of South Africa and representatives from airport government authorities. The flights, operating four times a week on a B787-9 Dreamliner, aim to strengthen Saudia's presence in South Africa and contribute to the Kingdom's tourism and aviation objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030. The initiative is part of the Air Connectivity Program's efforts to enhance air connectivity between South Africa and Saudi Arabia.
