Saudia's brand value surges by 58% in 2022: Brand Finance

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, recently announced a significant surge in its brand value, marking a 58% increase since 2021, as per the annual report by Brand Finance® Top 50 Airline brands.

Over the past four years, Saudia has ascended six positions, securing the 33rd spot in the brand value ranking table. This achievement places Saudia as the sixth fastest growing airline brand in 2024, with a brand value now totaling USD$797.4 million.

According to the report, which assesses the top-performing and most valuable airline brands globally, Saudia has notably enhanced its brand strength rating from A to A+. As a result, it now ranks as the third most valuable Middle Eastern airline brand.

Saudia's progress can be attributed to various strategic initiatives undertaken in the past year. The airline has expanded its route network, linking Saudi Arabia with key international destinations, and has significantly improved its guest experience through enhanced services and amenities. Additionally, Saudia underwent a rebranding effort that emphasizes digital transformation, aligning with modern industry trends.

This substantial growth underscores Saudia's steadfast dedication to delivering top-notch services to its passengers while reinforcing its position as a leader in the aviation sector globally.

Khaled Tash, Chief Marketing Officer of Saudia Group, expressed pride in the innovative strategies that have bolstered the brand's value and guest experience. He highlighted Saudia's partnerships with renowned international brands like Newcastle United and Formula E as instrumental in expanding the brand's reach to a broader global audience.

Tash emphasized Saudia's crucial role in Saudi Arabia's economic transformation and the Vision 2030 agenda. The airline remains committed to sustaining its growth trajectory and further elevating its reputation as a symbol of hospitality and excellence in the aviation industry.
