Riyadh, November 23, 2023, In the presence of the Minister of Media and Chairman of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, and several dignitaries, the SBA conducted its annual celebration in commemoration of World Television Day.
Addressing the audience during the ceremony, Mohammed Al-Harithi, the CEO of SBA, highlighted the unprecedented progress that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved across various domains. He extended congratulations to the Minister of Media and the entire Saudi Media system for the significant recognition received by the SBA. The World Broadcast Pro Award was conferred upon the SBA for its innovative Studio A project, incorporating cutting-edge global technologies and virtual reality.
Al-Harithi emphasized that the Studio A project is aligned with the transformative phase currently underway at the SBA. He underscored the project's role in staying at the forefront of technological advancements, revealing that Studio A is poised to commence broadcasting within the next six weeks.
