Riyadh, February 21, 2024, The Sports Boulevard Foundation (SBF) has solidified its collaboration with the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia (JCSA) through an official sponsorship agreement for the Sports Boulevard Riyadh Dirt Sprint race, a highlight of the evening events during the esteemed 2024 Saudi Cup, renowned as the globe's most prestigious horse race.
The signing ceremony, graced by the presence of Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, chairman of the Equestrian Authority and the JCSA, saw the formalization of the partnership between JCSA's chief executive, Ziad Al-Mogren, and SBF's chief executive, Jayne McGivern.
This marks the second consecutive year of Sports Boulevard's sponsorship of the Saudi Cup, a testament to the foundation's commitment to promoting equestrian sports in Riyadh. Notably, this year's Saudi Cup boasts a combined prize pool exceeding $37.35 million, reflecting a $2 million increase from the previous edition and promising to attract the finest racehorses, jockeys, trainers, and owners from around the world.
Al-Mogren expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing how Sports Boulevard's sponsorship of Riyadh Season races aligns seamlessly with JCSA's mission to democratize equestrian sports in Saudi Arabia.
