Riyadh, March 06, 2024, The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PwC Middle East, signaling a collaborative effort to conduct experiments and research into cutting-edge AI technologies. As part of this initiative, SDAIA aims to develop models tailored specifically for the Arabic language, paving the way for the establishment of an advanced virtual laboratory for AI and a center for generative AI experiments (GenAI).

Representing SDAIA, Raed bin Faleh Al-Faleh, CEO of Business Development, inked the agreement, while Fadi Al-Qamati, General Manager of PwC Middle East, signed on behalf of the company. This significant collaboration took place during the LEAP24 event, where SDAIA played a pivotal role as a strategic AI partner. The event unfolded from March 4 to 7 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, Malham, located north of Riyadh.
