Riyadh, October 26, 2023, The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) unveiled the updated Tawakkalna application's new identity and, in a formal ceremony, inked three crucial memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with the Ministry of Media, the Ministry of Tourism, and WeBook Company.
The first MoU with the Ministry of Media focuses on integrating the digital portfolios of the ministry's employees into the Tawakkalna application. This agreement was officially signed by Eng. Abdullah Al-Qahtani, Director of Public Administration for Planning and Performance for the Tawakkalna system at SDAIA, and Eng. Yasser Al-Hazimi, Supervisor General of the Public Administration for Digital Transformation and Information Technology at the Ministry of Media.
The second MoU, signed with the Ministry of Tourism, aims to incorporate the digital profiles of tour guides and tourism inspectors into the Tawakkalna application. This partnership was sealed by Al-Qahtani and Yaser Al-Shaban, Director of Public Administration for Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Tourism.
The third MoU, signed with WeBook, paves the way for booking, purchasing, and reviewing tickets directly through the Tawakkalna application. The agreement was formalized by Eng. Saleh Museibah, Assistant Director of the National Information Center of Tawakkalna System, and Nadeem Bakhsh, CEO for Information Technology at WeBook.
Through the Tawakkalna system, SDAIA emphasizes the importance of offering enhanced services to users, enriching their experiences, and fostering collaboration with government entities to provide top-notch digital services efficiently and conveniently.
