SDAIA, Samsung sign MoU for digital technology localization exploration

Riyadh, March 06, 2024, Today, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) formalized an agreement with Samsung Electronics Co. Limited aimed at delving into the localization of digital technologies and innovations. The signing ceremony unfolded amidst SDAIA's active engagement in the third edition of the LEAP technological conference, themed "Into New Worlds," held from March 4 to 7, 2024, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, situated north of Riyadh. SDAIA holds a pivotal position as the strategic partner in artificial intelligence at this prestigious event.

Representing SDAIA, Saleh bin Salem Musaibah, Assistant Director of the National Information Center for the Tawakkalna system, penned the memorandum, while Hyun-Dong Lee, General Manager of Samsung Saudi Electronics Limited, signed on behalf of the company.

The memorandum outlines various collaborative efforts, including the automatic integration of Tawakkalna system applications across all Samsung devices in the Kingdom. Additionally, it encompasses the provision of training services and workshops focusing on the latest technologies utilized in application development.
