SEC partners with Net-Zero Technology Centre and Accenture, advancing sustainability goals

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has taken a significant stride in its commitment to sustainability by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Net-Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) and Accenture. The collaboration aims to utilize digital and AI technologies to advance low-carbon solutions and drive innovation both within the Kingdom and internationally.

The partnership will see the establishment of a Sustainability Center of Excellence, to promote the growth of low-carbon solutions and support SEC's Net-Zero targets. This initiative seeks to stimulate national innovation and entrepreneurship while enhancing the skill set of the local workforce.

Khalid Algnoon, CEO of SEC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, "Today marks a significant milestone in our journey towards a sustainable future, as Saudi Electricity Company proudly partners with Net-Zero Technology Centre and Accenture to establish the Sustainability Center of Excellence.
