The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has announced the start of the second phase of the Source Tech initiative in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has declared the commencement of the Source Tech initiative's second phase.


Through localizing outsourcing, communication services, and application and software development, the project seeks to strengthen the nation's digital economy.


In order to establish Saudi Arabia as a worldwide digital hub, the initiative's second phase will increase the number of technology centers and fortify ongoing digital transformation projects.


"Riyadh, August 9, 2024." The Source Tech initiative's second phase has begun, as stated by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. This program is one of the initiatives Saudi Arabia is using to develop its digital economy.This phase of the initiative expands on the first stage's success, which saw the creation of over 15 technological centers spread over six Saudi regions.The project aims to maximize collaboration with the private sector in order to localize software and application development, outsourcing, and communication services inside the Kingdom.This project is a part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance technical skills among Saudi youth, create job opportunities, and promote the digital economy in a variety of settings.In tandem with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), the program's second phase aims to increase the number of technology centers. As a result, the Kingdom's reputation as a cutting-edge, technologically advanced global digital hub will grow.Moreover, the purpose is to fortify current digital transformation initiatives and foster a diverse range of top technology companies that effectively aid in accomplishing strategic objectives and advancing digital economic growth in the nation.The ministry invites entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts to apply for the initiative's second phase by visiting the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) website at https://ntdp.gov.sa/ar/initiative/mbadrt-source-tech.
