Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, has stated that relations between the GCC and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are witnessing growth and development in cooperation in colorful situations, adding that the GCC countries look forward to reaching a final agreement to subscribe to the Free Trade Agreement( FTA) between the two sides. This came during the Secretary General’s meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Jalil Abbas Jilani on Saturday on the sidelines of his participation in the meetings of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, USA. The Secretary-General stressed the strong literal relations between the GCC countries and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, emphasizing their donation to strengthening cooperation. The meeting encompassed conversations on colorful motifs, especially the progress of free trade accommodations and the significance of advancing these conversations to serve collective profitable and marketable interests. They also changed views on indigenous and transnational matters while fastening on the Joint Action Plan approved for the period 2022–2026.
