Riyadh, September 26, 2023, A meeting with a delegation from the Security and Defense Committee of the Senegalese National Assembly, led by the Senegalese committee's chairperson, who is currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was held by the Security and Military Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, which is chaired by Council Member Maj. Gen. Ali bin Abdulrahman Al-Sheikh. In order to improve ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Senegal and find measures to promote and strengthen them in many fields, the meeting covered a variety of themes of shared interest. Through joint committees in the Shura Council and the Senegalese National Assembly, it also attempted to improve parliamentary cooperation in a number of areas.
